As I lay to write about God, I feel different feelings at the same time. I’m excited, nervous and a little unsure.
How do I explain the deepness and elaborateness of God to someone who may not share the same beliefs as me?
For me, God is more than an idea; He is a presence that saturates all aspects of my life. A loving father who guides, comforts, protects, and challenges me to thrive.
My constant friend in my highs and lows, my wins and struggles.
But then, I know that it's not the same for everyone.
Some people see God as a distant figure, others as someone who restricts their individual freedom, and many question if He even exists.
I understand these perspectives because I have had doubts too.
Yet, my journey has led me to a different conclusion.
I have seen what having faith has done in lives, mine included. The strength it fosters, the hope it inspires, and the love it represents.
To me, God is a vibrant force. He sparks life, purpose and beauty.
He’s the warm embrace I feel when in the dark, reminding me that I am not alone. The gentle nudge toward forgiveness and mercy. The promise of redemption.
In a world full of uncertainty, God is stability and peace.
There are tough questions like,
Why does evil exist? Where is God when injustice is happening?
I don't have definitive answers, but I know His presence doesn't eliminate pain. It helps us to face it.
He is not a magic answer but a constant friend.
This is a piece of myself. The God idea is a mystery, a journey, and a relationship.
It is imperfect and beautiful.
